I was lucky enough to be invited to display at the wonderful Weston Air Fest (Weston-Super-Mare) on June 22, 2014.
The show was a fantastic success with many top class acts strutting their stuff along the seafront on a couple of glorious days of rare British seaside sunshine. As my first full public outing of the season there were a lot of nerves for me with this one but as ever, once the usual butterflies had settled down I managed to fly what felt, to me, like one of my most flowing and natural shows to date.
Nothing beats the feeling of one maneuver flowing seamlessly into another, over a beautiful sea. Chasing your own shadow and the shadows cast by the sun through crisp smoke trails is just something unbelievably special. Have a watch of the in flight first person view video I took during Sunday’s show here, and do make sure you watch in full HD!
